It's not the hyd. lock, it's the bloody electrics on a D3/4!!
There was a similar group on there when we were down there.
We assumed it was a group of bored Squaddies.
Looks a lot muddier and wetter than when we went down there.
Cheers
701mm.................................KABOOM!!!!!!!!!

they say more with a bow wave
i wouldn't risk it
water up to the sill and that's deep enough for me
wouldnt bother fitting a snorkel, as most of them are useless anyway in keeping water out
the air inlet is up quite high enough already and wouldnt dare push it that far
not worth it, in risking the engine
take water up to the bottom of the sill when i open the door, wouldn't go any deeper than that
You say that, I suspect the first bit of deep water, and you will be in it like a 2 year old in paddington wellies....
Does the D3 have wading plugs?
Cheers
Agree 100% - that'd be way far enough for me as well !
that isnt laning, that is just churning up mud.
hope those motors are getting a good wash afterwards - that **** rots steel like mad![]()
They would have crushed it. The MoD is known for it if off piste.I was half expecting to see a tracked vehicle turn up to pull that Disco out of the mud.
