Hi all a few months back my disco lost all forward drive but still had reverse which i think it must of had a failed clucth A. Any way i have just brought another gearbox without a transfer box my question is if i put the new gearbox in can i install my transfer box after the new one is all bolted in?

yes ,as long as you can drop rear of gear box on a jack etc

so if i leave the gearbox mounts off and hang the gearbox it will be ok?

as log as its supported ,dont forget to fit t/c to gear box and measure depth it sits in bell housing is greater by a 1mm or 2 than drive plate protrudes from engine
