Hello everyone,
I’m new to this forum. Wonder if anyone can give me some help? I’ve a Disco 4 2012 GS. When parked downhill at home, there is a quite a considerable lag in the vehicle moving when selecting reverse from cold, this may be getting worse. Any ideas?

Have you checked the oil level? When was it last changed?

Never had an auto, but do know there is a set way to check box oil level its not just a case of undo plug if oil comes out its right, if its like the range rover boxes you start engine let gear box up to temp run through all gears then check level.
