So the on going EPB failure on my D4, I have got a garage to remove the module so I can inspect and hopefully repair it. Now the module has been unplugged and removed the fuel gauge reads zero and I can't drive more than 60 seconds before the engine shuts down and the garage is a long way away. I'm wondering if anybody knows the wiring layout of the EPB connector and if there is a jumper / resistor I can put in place to fool the vehicle into reading some fuel while I go back to the garage to get them to fit a working EPB. The fuel senders are fine, it is just because the module is removed that this is happening and I can't drive it like this.
GAP tool shows engine performance limit due to low fuel and clearing the fault doesn't help. This is going to have to be a physical cheat just to get me back there. Any ideas?
