S Steve_R1979 Active Member Mar 19, 2013 #2 Wd40 is a water inhibitor not a lubricant. Won't make a blind bit of difference.

S Steve_R1979 Active Member Mar 19, 2013 #4 I'd put something like 3in1 or just some engine oil. As long as it lubricates!!
