Yes the exhaust on my 2000 V8 Discovery 2 has rotted. The down pipe on the passenger side snapped clean in half and the flanges joining each section are waffffer thin.
I have been quoted £267 inc vat for the Y pipe (the one with the Cats), then another £118 for the middle and yet another £181 for the rear.
My question is this:
If I get a stock front Y with the cats and use a Terraferma straight through middle section (£58.00) can you recommend a rear section that while breathing easier will not make me sound like an Impretza boy racer. This is NOT about making the Disco sound like a Disco, but purely about the money. Any saving on the £566 will go back into the car on other things as we may as well keep the old girl going till its time to put her in the field for the chickens.
Im sure I not the first to face this problem so hope you can help.
