hi can anyone tell me if its possible to overide the child saftey windows on a '98 disco2?

I assume you mean so they open all the way? Otherwise there's a button in the front which stops them being opened from the rear (oo err).

I assume you mean so they open all the way also they would if you had doors that weren't cut to clear wheel arches.

Yes, it is possible to override the child safety feature on the rear windows. To do this you will need to use Land Rover tool number one.
