Do you think this would fit on my defender!!!
Landrover discovery retractable rear step | eBay

The defender has a lift kit and its a bit of a pain getting in the rear and even onto the first step of the roof access ladder now i've had it fitted.
I'm thinking this might help as it would still be able to tuck up high out of way.

What do you all reckon, considering the bumper i have in place of a rear cross member. Good idea or can you advice about better?

Please just cut that crossmember off and put a new one on, its horrible!

well, i had thought about it matt, but for now i'm gonna run with it and just change the profile slightly.
You'll see what i mean soon.

Don't see why it can't be made to fit .. they only bolt on, so might need a plate or two making up ..

That's what i was thinking paul.
if i can find a cheap one to play with i'll have a go. Then if necessary buy a decent one and do the job properly in with my other plans.
