hi all i should be collecting my first discovery on Sunday, and want to use it for work. I'm a kitchen fitter and carry a fair amount of tools. Does anyone else use there disco for work? I could do with some idea's for adapting the back end for storage of my gear? Pictures or recomendations would be great thanks.

Open the door, fold the seats down or better still unbolt the fookers and bin em, then chuck all yer stuff in. Job's a good un

Hmmn ... I was thinking more along the lines of racking or shelving possibly slide out drawers. I've seen a few Defenders racked out, and wondered if anyone had done a Disco, I'm looking for Ideas more than suppliers.

buy some military storage boxes the ones wit shelves and just bolt them down

Spose the inside of a defender being square lends itself better to fitting shelves etc. The inside of a disco is going to be fiddly to make stuff fit but if you want it bad enough.......

Get yourself to a Land Rover Show, there's always someone or some company selling interior storage boxes out of checkerplate. Ammo boxes from the army and navy shop are my cheaper option though.

Good idea just stay away from Mobile storage solutions. It'll cost you a couple of grand to kit the back of a disco out with their gear..

Not how to fit or even make shelves and cupboards I was more interested in how others have done it so I dont make any mistakes that someone else already has.

Ammo box idea seems good although they're probably heavy??? Might look into kit the back out for them.
