Asking for a mate who has recently bought it. Pull on bonnet release, nearside opens but offside don't.
Does anyone have a simple solution to this problem, please?
As always all contributions gratefully received.

Sounds like the cable could have failed.
Maybe try applying a bit of weight to the offside of the bonnet, while the lever is being pulled.

Cheers mate, he seems to think it may have snapped in a dodgy place. But I'll mention this to him and give him a hand trying what you suggest. Itake it you are hoping just enough wire may be there to get it open. Let's hope so!!!!!
