Like most things on modern cars best to get the codes read and if you intend to keep and land rover product for any period of time it is a good idea to buy your own diagnistic tool.
I assume all doors open//close from interior/exterior handles, interior lights come on when any door incl boot are opened, the boot releases correctly?
All the door switches are built into the door latches and door latch failure isnt unusual, I have had two go on my D3 in 5 years.
