A friend of mine is looking at buying a commercial Disco 3 over here.
The deal he's being offered is ridiculously good, about 6,500 for a slightly damaged 55,900km 2007 example.
Panel damage is a beat up rear quarter, like some reversed hard into a wall. The tailgat still opens fine but a little off.
The real issue is the mileage, disco is RHD 2007 but first registered in Ireland February 2010. There is a service sticker under the bonnet with 55,050km on it dated February 2010, so its only done 800km in 2 years???? Anyway thats not the biggest issue, could've been parked up etc. The clocks are in kilometers. I thought that the UK was still on miles?
If you replace the clocks in a Disco 3, where does the mileage come from?
