as for changing the fluid there is a bleed valve on the pump open it put a bit of pipe on it that drop's to a bucket or pan open the filler tank and drain the system..
once empty put fresh fluid in and bleed the system back up useing the same kind of method as doing break's except instead of yer mate pressing the peddel have him turn the wheel lock to lock as you get the air out of the system(remember the engine will need to be running at this point to power the pump so watch yer arm's for moving parts).
pink tends to make me think you have water contamination..so check all pipes and seals while your there/
