I'm getting a high-pitched squealing from underneath my 2004 Disco 2 at 30mph - happens both when accelerating and cruising. Sounds metallic - and definitely underneath so not engine related. I have greased the UJs but maybe need more. Any suggestions gratefully received!

update - the noise does seem to stop if i use the brakes...?

Have you checked the condition of the brake pads?
