Somehow that job took all day. Mind you there was quite a bit of messing around having to collect the parts, then the plumber came round (unrelated, he wasn't helping), then had to go to the local garage to get the cv boot bands done up as I haven't got the tool and couldn't buy one locally.
I have a sneaky suspicion that the slight nick in the cv boot was done by the local garage when they did the upper and lower ball joints not that long ago, boot was in very good condition otherwise.
Not a blue box insight.
