I was saying the exact same thing before. I'm going to be looking at how a disco 1 and 2 winch bumpers are fitted onto discos. Don't know if its the same as on the P38, so might be able to fabricate something. Same with steering guard, etc. However, after taking a look under my car, I have tubular bars in front of my diff and steering so it looks like they're already covered?

Think factory made winch mount for P38. Take off bumper mount winch, replace bumper. Job done. Then pay garage factory size bill! Very neat , but you gets what you pays for: gets a lot, pays a lot.
Some very interesting bits of kit available Stateside & Aus. Checkout `rangerovers.net.`
I am thinking about getting some things made up myself. I know I haven`t got the skills to do a good job myself or the tools for bashing 1/4" steel tube. Got some agricultural garages around here, so gonna save up some cash, draw a picture on the back of a fag packet, see what happens....
