So all!

Whats the crack with the various different switches in the freelander (im on about the push on/off ones i.e for the fogs, rear wipe, demist, aircon etc.

There is so many different part numbers on the bodies, im not sure whats what to be fair, or if it makes a difference. I know that there is two types, momentary and on/off but is there any more difference than that?

There is a:

push to make, let go to release - rear heated window. [non latching]
push and let go to make, then push and let go to release - air con [latch type]

2 different switch colour options that I know of. Could be a 3rd if black was available too on 2002 onwards models?.

In which case there is at least three if not four types of switch as some are latching, and some are not, with the non latching having momentary ( rear washer) and some as the same as the aircon.
