hi everyone i went out got stuck sat night. I put it in diff lock but still stuck so i want to know if front left wheel was spinning and the rear right had no grip ann was spinning would diff lock lock all 4 wheels or the two axles. So with one front and one rear spinning i lost the drive to the other two hence why i still was stuck .Or should it lock all four wheels without lossing drive .cheers alan

Diff lock doesn't lock the axle diffs, so a wheel on each axle spinning your going no where.

So these arb diff lockers lock the diffs? So both wheels locked at same speed? Is that right?

That's correct, making an off roader unstopable some say, have look on youtube for vehicles with axle diff lockers in action, impressive!

Yeah well i guess would make a big difference in a situation as described , are they expensive ?

Just had a search and answer my own question, pretty expensive if going for ARB !
