I have a P reg disco. I have only used the dif lock once in the snow and again today on the beach. problem is it took ages to get it out of the diff lock and get the yellow light to go out it took a considerable effort lots of pressure to move the small gear lever from lock to unlock and then the light did not come off for ages.
Where are the linkages and is there a way to make this operation smother. So that I do not have to use quite so much force.
