more disco woes,my front prop snapped during week doing 50 on motorway,was abit scary but managed to get it off,had to put it in diff lock and drive it home 15 miles,
i have changed prop but cant get it back out of diff lock,lever moves ok and goes into neutral,but lock light stays on in dash
any ideas...

drive it 10-20m and it should go off.

i have done about a mile in it still on will give it a good run toomorow ,it wont do any damage if its stuck in 4 high will it..

try reversing it a hundred yards or so.

if you get underneathe you can using a 13mm spanner turn nut on difflock lever where it enters t/box anti clockwise as looking from top,it will disengage diff lock ,later on you can remove center consol and fix/adjust linkage

i will try reversing it tommorow before i hook up the trailer...if it dont work i will disconnect it
