I have an 88" series III diesel, the problem is the throttle is extremly sensitive which causes a very uncoumfortable ride, I have replaced all the bushes on the linkage and tried a stronger return spring but to little efect.
Am I missing something obvious or do I just live with it ???

Are the engine mounts okay?
Have you got the pedal set to high?
Normal throttle positions on a 2.25 are either off or full down.
