Was thinking of adding a tin of bg244 to give the system a clean after reading reviews it sounds a good product but speaking to a mechanic was advised not to as the particles it loosens could damage turbo etc and do more damage than good or are the particles/carbon/soot just expelled safely?05 td4,cheers

i have used Forte before on my cars but nothing yet on my Freelander but was going to use the same again when i get round to servicing my beast lol

As matt1295 has stated Forte is the best used by the trade however you only get one shot of it for the money i often use Miller Diesel Power Plus last longer & more per fuel tank fill up

what i used to do was half fill a new fuel filter with forte and rest with diesel and then other half to half a tank of fuel never had any bother with it and have done that a few times when it fail mot on exhaust smoke... now it gets done a week before test and with ever service

parafin is good but you need to be careful how much you use. toomuch you can smell it not enough it don't work. Even turned back the desiel pump so much could not get car of the brake tester but it passed the emiction test

I've used this in my 06 Freelander. No problems whatsoever.
