After failing to find a replacment axle for my td5 110 with the abs mounts and disk monts moulded in to the axle casing in looking at replacing the pinion bearings and diff bearings in the axle i have ,but i cant seem to find the settings i need such as back lash and how much resistance is needed on the drive flange etc ,

i don't suppose anyone has any idea where i can find such info

if you use timken bearings ,shims on diff carrier and in case for pinion heigth should be ok as is , i will give you settings tonight ,

Never done a landrover axle but have done a few salisbury type axles in transits, we just reused what came out and it was near enough to not bother about.

Been told to re use the crush washer to make it a bit easyer .... N e way i gotta later type of axle from a 04 plate with the removable diff .... See how it goes and will fix Salisbury on the bench
