Hi all
Having look at previous posts, and not finding an answer, I need to ask.....
I have just changed the handels and locks on my 95 Defender 90, three locks all with the same key, only to find that the rear door lock is just worn out and wont lock.
So I buy and fit a new one, Britpart, only to find that the lock barrel wont stay in the new handel assembly, It fitted the old one and stayed in, so I cant understand why a new lock barrel wont stay in a new lock.....

Whats I am I doing wrong ????

perhaps a genuine one would be better

Maybe, but the term `Goods fit for purpose ` comes to mind

I refitted my original barrel cos the wear was on the lock assembly. Just cleaned and greased it.
