A visitor from the dark side looking for opinions, advice or whatever takes your fancy!!
These days I seem to be driving the P38 around without passengers or the Transit with hardly anything in the back. Had a brain wave, buy a Defender and kill 2 birds with 1 stone as they say.
To say used prices knocked me bandy would be an understatement, some of the asking prices were jaw dropping. Not to be deterred I focused on 4 vehicles, 3 were just silly money and the 1 worth a look was miles away. That sold within a week, the other 3 are still for sale and haven't moved on price at all, which would suggest to me prices must take a fall soon.
Is this is all to do with the Defender being axed or the usual winter hike, or a bit of both?
Regarding the LEZ (I frequent central London all too often
) Is there a cut off date for TD5's. I've been putting the reg numbers into TFL's web site and some say ok and some say no way!! They are all hard top commercials by the way.
Opinions gratefully received.
