Whats the best way to do the mods - Ashcroft conversion on selector I guess? How about the mounts?

weld in new mounts, prop will be shorter on rear as bellhousing is longer and gearstick will still be in different place unless you move the engine a bit further forward to account for the extra length.
selector is simple, aschroft do one or in my build thread theres measurements for making your own

Thanks.
If opt for moving the engine forwards, will both engine mounts need re welding? Also what would you recommend to do about transmission tunnel?
Thanks for your advice

you can buy new engine mounts for a 300tdi from richards chassis £36 inc postage and VAT for a pair

chop out old ones, bolt them to the engine rubbers and engine, lower into place and weld up

tunnel on mine is all custom as its a series which I've butchered further, so you can either make your own or mod one
