Probably a silly question but...

Will a 2008 Defender door fit my 1987 LR90?

I've heard the door seals are on the bottom of the later doors as opposed to the tread plate.
But would it fit?
My doors are rotten & not just the bottoms.
I could then practice my welding skills on the old door
