Hello together,
so far, I three times installed a cruise control in a Defender.
They all work fine.
But, during installation yesterday I recognized a situation, that I cannot explain to me.
When I put the Nanocom to my car, the clutch switch is in position ON when the clutch is not pressed. OFF when using the pedal.
When I take the plug of the switch, the NC says OFF, if I bridge the plug it says ON again.
At the Ninety of my friend it is exactly the other way round!
Not pressing the clutch, the NC says OFF, pressing ON.
I had to install a additional switch, to tell the ECU the clutchswitch is on ON, that the cruise is working.
Prob. there is somewhere a shortcut?
Is here anybody who can explain that?
Regards
Horst
