im putting 300tdi into my 1988 90 can any one advise where i might get engine brackets . engine is out of R reg disco

engine brakets?

you mean the bit that goes onto the chassis?

Cut them off the disco.

Or, if you aint got the entire disco, then make them - all they need to be is a strong, flat platform with a hole in them.

oh, by the way, welcome to the site.

A wee friendly word of advice though, make sure you have your thickest skin on - also do a search before asking some questions, and also make your subjects a bit more enlightening - i hope you enjoy your stay!
