Spent the day rebuilding my 90 front decardon prop, it looks like the swivel style bearing between the 2 joined knuckles let go breaking up 2 of the ujs.
I thought something was wrong this week sudden slight vibration & a bit of a tramping noise you could see straight away that the newness was off it so got it off replaced the flange & put my standard front prop back on, got all 3 of the ujs out then spotted the swivel style joint was shot & its purpose is to keep the distance equal between the 2 ujs & keep an equal balance so it looks like they had a coming together causing the damage.
The only place I could get the joint was the usa so should be here this week got he 3 original part ujs from craddocks £9 each so in total £60 A new prop would have been £200 ish and dam good fun putting it all together you can do anything if you put your mind to it
