Hi All,

Just bought a dash cam and notice that all my cigar lighters are constantly on.

I'm sure this is a programmable thing at the main stealers but I'd like to hard wire a mini USB cable.

Question is: Where can I wire this to?

I'd like to find somewhere around the dash area if possible. Anybody got any tips?

Think the stereo unit will have a switched live supply that you could take a low current, fused supply from.

Sounds like a plan.

Do I need to get the radio out or can I find the wire somewhere else?

I'm just being totally lazy here. Have you noticed?
