Bit of an odd one. My D2 has been parked in the workshop for a few months and after completing the cylinder head change last week I have found my rear wiper and washer are not working! When I press the switch for the rear wiper I can hear the relay clicking (seems to be a non replaceable one that talks to the BCU) and when I press the rear wash button the voltage drops by about a volt but the pump doesn't run. So it seems the switches are fine, and the front wipers and washer work fine too.

Anyone any ideas?

You could always check to see if both are getting power when the switch is pushed, give them a good dose of looking at. They may have simply seized.
 
That is my next job. It just seems odd they would both seize at exactly the same time...
Odd stuff always seems to be happening!!

@sierrafery may have an idea or two. I know that the rear wash/wipe obvs has to have the wipe part of it working. Maybe look at that first, if you solve that I spose it may fix the other one.

Which reminds me, my rear wash ain't working very well, but it does still wipe! Think the jet(s) is/are just a bit blocked!!

I swapped the plugs over and I can get the rear wash switch to operate the front wash, so I'm guessing it's not the switch
 
The only thing both systems are sharing is the IDM(interior fusebox) no common earth nor headers/connectors as the washer pump is in front aand the wiper motor at the rear, the BCU is involved only in the washer's activity so the first suspect is the fusebox, it used to suffer from corrosion, i'd swap that first with a similar 100% good one to rule it out, it's almost plug and play, disconnect the battery before the swap then after reconnection turn ignition on(not crank) and let it so 5 minutes.
