A few weeks ago I installed a flashing amber beacon system (for use when driving around event sites). To power the control unit on the dashboard I connected into the permanent live supply to the clock. For ease I also connected the earth into the earth wire from the clock rather than finding a new earthing point.
Connected it all back up and the clock works fine. Except now the light in the clock doesnt work.
The wire from the lighting circuit seems fine. Could it just be coincidence that the bulb has blown or is there something else i'm likely to have done?
I'm now trying to decide whether to do anything about it. It was a pig to get the clock out the first time round, and where i've installed the controller for the lights and run the wires its going to make it even more of a pig to get the clock out again.
