Right the bonnet on me d2 won't open pulled the realise makes a click then that's it. Tryed pulling it while someone done the release nothing any ideas what else I can do before I smash it up

cables prob snapped, not played with a d2 but d1s i am sure u can open

Does the release feel like it's pulling on a cable? If not, then see if the cable's come adrift from the handle in the car. If it's still attached, then.. I've run out of ideas too

If the inner cable had snapped it would pull out, Many years ago when my bonnet was stuck I just used brut force pulling the T handle, it opened the bonnet but broke the handle.

Replaced the inner wire and readjusted the bonnet pin plus a bit of grease and I haven't had any probs since
