Hi all,

I just had my RR L322 custom exhaust chopped off. When I bought the car it had a powerflow custom exhaust system on. I never really liked the tail pipes, they looked bit like horse hooves! But, sounded a bit meatier... :D Someone in a ford fiesta recently crashed into the back of me and smashed the right side tail pipe and bent the tow eye a bit, :doh:their car was quite damaged as you could imagine!

My exhaust has now been replaced with a standard system.

Should i keep it standard?

Being a Design Engineer I could take the professional line - It was Designed like that for a reason....

I could also take the Economists point of view - the original was designed to a price, an aftermarket system will enhance what the designer *had* to leave out for cost reasons....

I could quote the purists - Why change it from standard, thats means it isn't a true RR anymore....

If you didn't like the previous 'sporty' one, then leave it as is....

If you prefer a bit more of a growl, find an aftermarket version you do like......remember owning a RR is not all about the noise...it is about the heritage, the marque and the style icon....not about blasting past ****s in tin boxes....

Note: any changes you make may invalidate any warranty on the car, and must be notified to the insurers....sorry to be a kill-joy!!
