1997 4.6 HSE auto 149k
Nanocom tells me I have a crankshaft position sensor fault. I have searched Rave and cant find out what it is or where it is let alone how to change it.
There seems to be lots of different ones available from Island and Paddock and want to have a look so I can buy the right one,
Any help much appreciated

Getting Island to pick up the phone is a hiding to nothing. Never tried with Paddock. Could ask the main stealers parts department.

Never managed to get Island on phone either but always had a good response from Paddock so yes a good idea
Where is the sensor?

This could be a flexplate issue if this is a gems v8. Remove the round cover on the bellhousing look for metal fragments. The sensor is on the rh on the back of the bellhousing. One wire.
