Hi everyone,

Yesterday i did a small check on my Disco's Td5 and I went to check the oil contamination on the wiring loom,
as I replaced the injector harness with an "improved" version lately.

long story short: It is impossible to plug the loom back into the harness.
I can get it "on", but it doesnt lock into place as it should. I can drive around in it and it doesn't fall off (even on a bumpy road) but I don't feel comfortable doing it.

Has anyone experienced this before?

Update:

It seems like the ends of the clips that hold on to the harness have snapped off. (orange on my car, green on a picture I've found online)

Any ideas of how to fix this?

A proper fix, replace entire loom or email a breaker to get the plug with some tail of wire and solder it back on. Failing those, zip ties? lol

My Wife's car has been driven for at least two years with the plug linking the coils to the rest of the loom mended with garden wire. The pesky spring clip flew off into the middle distance never to be found. so yep, 2 or even three zip ties would be my solution too.
