W Wilkie01207 Member May 11, 2021 #1 My freelander 1 TD4 has developed a whine when i push the clutch pedal down, but soon as i release it the whine disappears,any idea what this could be. It cant be the propshaft as its been removed.

Nodge68 Well-Known Member May 12, 2021 #3 If the noise is only there when the clutch pedal in down, then it's most likely to be the concentric release bearing.
