So, I ordered a new clutch kit and fork.

I am also installing a new cross member for the transfer case so I already had the cross member and the fuel tank out.

So I figured seeing that all of that is out I can install the clutch from the bottom, lots of space.

Disconnected everything, slipped the bell house/gearbox/tranfercase back and did the install, not to bad.

Then the whole thing went off balance and fell of the floor jack !!! on to the ground !!!

Looks like there was no damage.

My question is, how do I safely get it back up and in, I do not have an engine lift, can it be done with floor jacks?

Thanks.

are you able to get/borrow an engine hoist and lift it from the seatbox access panel?

Have used a small hand winch hooked to a bar that was set across from dash to bulkhead, used plank to spread load on dash.

Or a strap over the roof with a scaf pole through the doors. Rope or better a couple of racket straps give a nice fine adjustment as you're wiggling about

It will be easier if you separate the transfer case from the gearbox.
If I'm on my lonesome without a ramp I usually pull the floors out.
