Hi,

I have a problem with my 07 disco 3.
When I drive over small bumps or pot holes I get a lot of clonking coming from near the front wheels or axles.
My local 4x4 expert said it was the front anti roll drop link bars as they were worn and said he would do it for £90  I got them off fleabay for £11.50 and fitted them myself, it took about 15 minutes to do but it has not cured the problem.

Would any of you knowledgable chaps know what the problem is ?

Thanks in advance

Sounds like bushes, not always obvious they are knacked but take a look and see if theres any play in them

They're abut more of a bitch to do as the bolts are hard to get at on the passenger side definitely A ramp job

I haven't had chance to change these anti-roll bushes as I had to do a trip to Holland over the weekend, however it seems to have gotten worse.
Even when turning a corner now it clonks, turning left and right.

Is this still the same problem or something different?

Thanks in advance.

If you've changed the anti roll bar bushes and no change, you need to get under it with a crowbar or similar and start moving things around. You should be able to pinpoint exactly where the problem is by what part has loads of play in it.
