My 93 classic has recently decided not to lock with the blipper.

not a major issue I thought, and have been locking with the key. It then decided to start working again with the blipper and I assumed all was well again.

Came to it this evening and it wont unlock with the blipper again, so when I open up with the key the alarm just goes off and obviously cant go anywhere. The light works in the blipper so am assuming the battery is ok.
Should I try a new battery first?
Any ideas what I can or need to do to get the alarm disabled?

You can disable the alarm via a crazy 24million step procedure that is listed in the owners manual.

Basicly you lock and unlock via the drivers door many times untill the alarm goes off.

could not find any info as you suggest in the manual, only that if you hold the key in the lock positon for 5 seconds then it will disable.
Now whether this only applies to perimetric setting is does not say However hoorah, I have somehow disabled it.
Fitted new remote batteries and back to normal.
