Recently car has had starting problems , leads , battery , plugs , coil replaced , didn't make much difference . Today I have sprayed a good deal of carb cleaner in the carb and now its starts fine , butterfly closes with choke out which I'm assuming is fine but only opens about 1/2 inch when choke in ,now this is working for me , however should the butterfly be fully open (verticle) when choke in , I'm hoping not as its working great as it is

Yes, vertical when open, but ffs take it back to the people who've bled you dry.
