Hi
Sorry, again it is possibly an obvious Q. Read that before jacking you should put diff lock on and chock wheels.
I have just bought a pair of Wolf chocks since there were none with the LR. The pair will allow me to chock one wheel forward and back.
If I am right then this should be sufficient with the diff lock on, or should I get another pair so I can chock two wheels for improved safety. Do not fancy it toppling on me!
Thanks

OK, bit of wasted expenditure but they are a very nice red colour!
Still - do I chock one wheel or two??
Thanks

If I've only got one wheel in the air I chock the wheel diagonaly opposite, if I've got two wheels in the air I chock the other two wheels.

Thanks Grunt
That is just what I was wanting to know.
I confess I would not have thought of chocking the diagonal if only one wheel up! I would have gone for the one on the same side. Dare one ask why the diagonal?
Great help.
Best wishes

Malcy

Theres more weight on that wheel so it's less likely to go anywhere, It's purely a personal whim.

havent you got enough on your plate with doris and the sheep, without worrying about whelks?
