I want to change the filter and put a good quality oil in the gearbox does anyone recomend a good oil also as I was under truck I noticed the chassis was in really good condition I can only see a small amount that will need welding at the bk end

I used Smith & Allen DIII in mine, didn't see to make any difference on mine though, probably because the stuff that came out wasn't too bad looking.

You probably already know you only get about half of the fluid out when you do change, so I plan to do mine again soon and do the filter at the same time.
