Hello All,

I own a TDI Freelander and recently its CCU has died. So now my car is in Land Rover Garage. I was able to put my hand on an identical used CCU (YWC106390). However, the technition claims that once the CCU is programmed to one car it can not be reprogrammed to another. I tend to assume that he just does not know how to reprogram it.

Anyone tried it before ?

What model year is the car ?

The 1st generation - Model 2000, Turbo Diesel (not TD4).

Should be OK then,I've done it before - with a TD4,2001 0n you would have a problem.

needs to be paired with the 5as from the same vehicle it originally came from, can be decoded though at "best of british" for about £40 though you would lose the immobiliser side!
