if your just after a cb set up for on trail with a few mate's laning then i suggest something cheep but well made..
there's a few 80 channlers that would suit this perfect the albric(cant remeber how its spelled correctlly) is a nice multi with full digital frequency read out looks posh for around a ton new..
or you can look at the legal cobra 80 channel job there also around a ton but are classic look silver and big dials..
or even the midland range again around the ton mark..
you can set up a full car rig for about 200 quid new that will look the bollox and do the job of keeping you with the rest
and legally use a kicker upto 25watts in mobile
hope that help's

Bang on... for a greenlaner etc...
Just got a few PMR's as well and theres always one without or with a broken rig or something. Someone should design a rig that runs both sets of frequencies. I've got an old CB, I may even try it myself, just a switch that moves the mic and speaker between the two sets of circuits and share a common power source.
