Just about to fit my 1st cb in my 90. where's the best place to mount the antenae and what lenght do i go for?

1.5m centre load or base load wip for flexibility so no worry about snapping it on a tree. and any part of the car with ether a gutter or mag mount. With a rig putting out about 3Wats you will get about 6-8 kilometre put of it non line of sight then about 8-10 k line of sight and a SWR meter to match the antenna.

Thanks for that, went into maplins, bleedin useless, and expensive, tried a local radio shack type shop, really knowledgable and lots cheaper
