I have a 2004 model. It starts but just dies. I wait for a couple of minutes same thing hapoened. It was working perfectly next day started doing this. Checked the usual things battery fuel and pressed the red fuel button. I would appreciate any help.

My series did this when I first had it. The problem was a dodgy ignition switch. As Arctic2 says, we need more info, diesel or petrol etc.

It is a 16 valve twin cam land rover petrol engine. The red button is the fuel cut off switch. 1.8ltr. Thanks in advance

K series.
Check the engine is getting the correct fuel pressure.
The fuel system suffers from filter blocking, and its never changed because its in the tank as part of the pump.

Try to use a fault reader, you find one for 50 bucks ...
