Well the time came for me to change my in tank pump today. 99k on the clock and the pump was tired, the fuel gauge was nearly 1/4 of a tank out.

I remembered some time ago CANYON posted photos and measurements, so last night I measure twice and cut once two of the three cuts.

This morning armed with my trusty dremel I cut the rest, then pulled up the newly cut flap in the floor and low and behold spot on it's all there.

Hoover out to get rid of years of muck, the feed and return pipes were as rust as hell, so quick dose of WD40, just work the pipes slightly to break the crud and rust on the fuel lines. Then 2 spanners, screwdriverout with the old, in with the new pump and seal job done in 30 mins.

CANYON your a star, and many thanks for your superb posting

You're not the first to thank him for that posting
and I doubt you'll be the last.

As long as you've got the bottle it's a cracking short cut
(short cut hah hah - O.K. I'll leave quietly)

Just bought my new pump so I will be following acc's example and Canyon's instructions. And yes, DB, it is a cracking short cut.

yep good guide i removed my carpet but still managed to use your measurements to cut my hole so thumbs up from me!
