Cos I've just spent the morning wrestling the headlining back in to place and realised that in my haste I forgot to connect the middle row lights... Doh!

Oh and when I got everything back up together I had no interior lights, no radio and no clock. Turns out Fuse 20 had blown. I'm really hoping that's a coincidence and that I've not trapped a wire somewhere and caused a short...

Don't have time to take the headlining down again - I'm working all week and driving to the alps for a ski trip on Friday...

Edited to add, I have looked and I don't think I can, but if anyone knows better I would love to know!

Yes, but disconnect the 12v supply first. I.e. Pull the fuse.
how? The damn thing doesn't want to move. Do I lever the plastic surround away from the roof lining? I was under the impression it was bolted in from the other side of the roof lining tray?

The plastic part is bolted from the other side by small plastic nuts. You can remove only the lamp itself but it should be enough to see if the wire is connected or not.
